Our application process

1. Apply

You can upload your documents straight to our application system via our homepage. Simply click on the ‘Apply now’ button at the end of the job advertisement to do so.

2. Confirmation of receipt

After you have uploaded your documents, you will receive an automated confirmation of receipt. So you’ll know that your application has reached us safely.

3. Feedback from HR

We do everything we can to give you feedback just a few days later. Unfortunately, the high number of applications means that this may sometimes take a little longer. Should the application process take significantly longer, we will of course notify you.

4. Selection interviews

An initial selection interview follows, either as a telephone interview conducted by the People team or, depending on the role, a direct video interview with the department so you can initially get to know each other and exchange ideas. The next round is a more detailed (video) interview with the department and a person from the People team to get to know you even better and to introduce you to the area of responsibility in detail.

5. Getting to know the team

Depending on the role, we would invite you to a trial day where you can gain further insight into working at Sovendus and your area of responsibility. During this interview – or during another video interview if you live further away – you will also get to know your potential team colleagues and can exchange ideas with them. We especially look forward to answering your questions in all of our discussions.

6. Our decision

We make a decision about you and you make a decision about us! You will receive the contract from us for your digital signature. We will then start planning your onboarding process and look forward to meeting you!

Your questions – our answers

We are very interested in you as a person. How old you are, where you come from, what gender you are, who you love and who or what you believe in – we are completely open-minded. If you meet the requirements for your preferred vacancy, are highly motivated, contribute ideas and want to grow with us, we should definitely get to know each other.

We are on first name terms. With everybody: employees, superiors and the management team. So don’t be shy. We’d be happy if we were on first-name terms from the get go.

First we’ll tell you what we don’t need: a cover letter. We just need your full CV, relevant references and proof of qualifications, including your portfolio if available. We are also interested in your expected salary and the notice period for your current job. Please tell us what particularly appeals to you about the role and why you are the right person for it!

Absolutely! The only thing that’s important to us is that we are able to see from your documents how you are a good fit for these roles and why you are interested in them.

Immediately after you submit your application, you will receive confirmation that we have received it. After that, we will make every effort to respond to you just a few days after interviews – including feedback for telephone interviews and job interviews. But admittedly, sometimes it can take a few days longer. If the contact people are on holiday, for example. In this case, simply get in touch with us. We will be happy to help.

No. Although the advertised positions are usually available immediately, we are aware that you are probably not available immediately. So we would be happy to talk to you about your preferred start date. If it suits you, we will adapt to you!

We will gladly cover your train ticket for 2nd class. We will clarify exactly how you can submit this expense and how it will be settled in the interview itself.

Dress code? Whatever you feel comfortable in! Most of us come to work dressed quite casually. The important thing is that you feel comfortable.

As soon as you have signed the contract, you will receive a link that will take you to our personnel questionnaire. Your first day is ‘Newcomer day’ for all newcomers at Sovendus. The day starts with an introduction by the People team and then involves a meet & greet with your team, hardware setup and a presentation on the history of Sovendus and its products. This allows you to hit the ground running from day one.

Yes. We offer you a lot of flexibility with regard to both your working hours and your place of work. In many departments, you can even work for us from anywhere in the World.
