Sovendus starts 2022 with new management team

Christian Würst and Sebastian Legler join the management team of the checkout marketing pioneer. Sovendus is continuing to grow and expand its network of now over 1,300 online shops in Europe. The Karlsruhe-based company begins the year by bringing a new management team on board. Starting immediately, Christian Würst will be responsible for promoting Marketing, Sales and Key Account Management as managing director. Sebastian Legler is in charge of the Product, IT, Data, Finance and HR divisions as managing director.

The shareholders are relying on two renowned experts to continue Sovendus’ growth trajectory and to increasingly internationalise the business. “I am very pleased that we have been able to attract Christian Würst and Sebastian Legler, two proven experts in online marketing services,” says founder Oliver Stoll. “With this management team, we will be able to decisively further shape the future of data-based checkout marketing in Europe.” As the market leader, Sovendus aims to further increase its network of store operators and expand its product portfolio. This will enable the company to leverage new cross-selling potential and promote end-customer loyalty with attractive promotional vouchers and special offers.

Christian Würst’s international experience and online marketing expertise

Through his previous professional positions, Christian Würst is very familiar with both the network and the customer side and can contribute international experience that will benefit Sovendus’ Europe-wide growth ambitions. As Chief Commercial Officer of the Onlineprinters Group, Würst was most recently responsible for marketing, sales and customer service. Before that, he chaired the management board of the affiliate network affilinet, was Global Chief Sales Officer at 1&1 (United Internet AG) and was Managing Director marketing, sales and e-commerce at Thomas Cook.

Sebastian Legler as an expert for digital business models in the international environment

In Sebastian Legler, Sovendus is gaining a proven expert for the potential of the digital market. As CEO, Legler developed the Flightright Group into Europe’s largest LegalTech platform with offerings for air passenger rights, employment law and traffic law in twelve countries. In addition to Flightright, he founded Chevalier, the largest law firm for employee protection in Germany, as well as a B2C InsurTech company. Legler previously worked for several years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
